Our Story

Hi, we’re the Arredondos! We founded El Tacoriendo back in 2001 with nothing but a small food trailer and a dream.


Back in those days, there was a serious lack of authentic Mexican food in Columbus. No one was serving the homemade recipes we grew up on — so we set out to change that. Luckily for us, our neighbors and community were behind us. El Tacoriendo was a success, and we were able to open the doors to our brick-and-mortar restaurant in 2007. We’ve been serving classic Mexican dishes from the same location ever since.


El Tacoriendo’s menu is heavily influenced by our recetas de Abuela — family recipes passed down for generations. Everything in our kitchen is made from scratch daily. We love what we do, and we’re proud to share our food and culture with our incredible community here in Columbus.
